The St. Albert Curling Club offers several modern space options for hosting a variety of events. Members, private, community or corporate groups may choose to book the entire building or select an individual space in which to host the perfect event.
We are the best kept secret in St. Albert! Our space is ideal for hosting:
- Corporate Events: workshops, speaker series, meetings, staff appreciation and more!
- Weddings: intimate with a few guests or with many! In - house caterer, licenced bar and staff!
- Ice Rentals: ideal for corporate outings, team building, funspiels or just for practice!
Other Events: Anniversary, Birthday, Celebration of Life, Retirement, Family Reunion - and so many more!
- All areas of the club are accessible. There is an elevator to the second floor banquet room and ramps to access the curling ice.
- A public parking lot, including accessible parking stalls, is located adjacent to our building. There is a loading zone with ramps up to the front doors along Tache Street.
- Our in-house caterer, “Mama M's Catering”, can accomadate events from a few to many people! Whether you are looking for a simple lunch or an eleborate sit down meal, Mama M's is happy to help!
- We have a liquor license and operate the bar for all alcohol sales. No outside alcohol is allowed on premise Licensed bar staff supplied at an additional rate.
- We are a non-smoking facility. We fall under the municipal regulations for public places. The City of St. Albert regulations state that there will be no smoking, vaping or consuming cannabis in any public place in St. Albert. Corporate Events:
The St. Albert Curling Club features a stunning facility that can accommodate groups up to 300 (cocktails / theatre style). With an in-house caterer and a fully licensed bar, you can check another thing off your to-do list!
We have everything you need for your next corporate event:
- tables and chairs can be set up in any configuration
- large area to hold break out sessions if needed
- present onto 6 large screens
- podium and cordless mics provided
- flipchart, easel and whiteboard available
- various seating arrangements

Weddings:
In the prime months of wedding season (May-September) our venue is the PERFECT place to hold your wedding! While other venues may charge a premium during this time, we do not! With a beautiful venue that is fully accessible, why not make the St. Albert Curling Club your choice for your special day!
We are conveniently located next to Lion’s Park, the Railroad Trestle, Grain Elevators and the Children’s Bridge which are all lovely backdrops for wedding photographs. You can hold your ceremony here as well, head off for pictures and come back to a transformed venue for you banquet.

6 Sheets of Ice Availabe During the Curling Season: (September through March):
- Private or community / corporate events
- Practice Ice
- Funspiels
- Lessons
- Curling Equipment (brooms & sticks, stability devices, sliders, grippers) is available for use during your event
- Instruction can be provided at an additional cost
- Pricing starts at $22.00 per person up to 2 hours - up to 8 people per sheet - other rates available for larger groups and events
