Registration Information

Registration is now open for the upcoming season!  Members must be logged into the Member's Area in order to register for a League. 

50+ Mixed & Stick (daytime) League Registration will be done online.  Refer to 50+ Information for details.

Refer to Membership Types if you are not a current League member and wish to be able to spare and have access to practice ice.

New Members

Please use Contact Us form to join the club.  Include the league you are interested in, skip's name, phone and the names and email addresses and the number of members on your team.  If the league is full, we will add you to the wait list.  
If you are a single looking to join a team, choose Subject:  Free Agent List.  Include the league(s) you are interested in, your preferred position and experience level. You may be contacted directly by any team that is looking for a new player. 

Current Members:

Registration Deadline: August 1st for the 2023-24 season. - Teams must have all players either paid in full or have made the first of their 4 payments.  After this date, unreserved spots will be filled from the wait list.    

Each team member must sign up and pay online.

Wait Lists: 

You may add your new team to a league Wait List during Registration process at the website. Alternately, Contact Us with Subject:  Wait List, and include the League, skip's name, phone and email address and any other team information so we may add you to the Wait List.

Looking for a Team / Free Agents 

Once you have a login, you may add yourself to the appropriate Free Agents list.  You may be contacted directly by any team that is looking for a new player.

Registration Application Acceptance Criteria

  1.  Four team members from the previous season.
  2. Three team members from the previous season in the same Men’s or Ladies League. Any two members of a Mixed team from the previous season.
  3. If any two members in men’s, ladies, or mixed leagues would like to form a team in the same league, they will be given consideration over new teams.
  4. If any members that fit the criteria in a) or b) want to move to a comparable league, they will be given consideration over new teams.
  5.  New applications to the club:   
    First preference given to St. Albert residents
    Second preference given to Sturgeon and District residents
    Third preference given to Greater Edmonton area resident

All team roster changes are subject to approval of the Manager in consultation with the Board of Directors of the St. Albert Curling Club.

We are a unique community facility offering  a variety of curling opportunities including youth and adult instruction, leagues, bonspiels and ice rental for corporate and community events, as well as special event space.  We are fully wheelchair accessible, including curling ice.
