Raymond (Ray) Rouault 1932- 2020
It is with the saddest of hearts, we announce the passing of St Albert Curling Club’s, Honourary Life Member, former President and great friend – Raymond (Ray) Rouault on Friday April 24, 2020 (4 days short of his 88th birthday). Ray curled at our club for 64 years and volunteered many hours in support of his fellow members, his community and the sport he enjoyed so much. It was always a fun game when Ray was on the ice. His wit and sense of humor will not be forgotten! A salute to you Ray – Thanks for being an inspiration to us all. On the behalf of the Board of Directors and all our Staff, we offer our sincerest thoughts and prayers to all Ray’s family. Our heart-filled blessings go out to Marylou (Ray’s wife), Ron (son), Blaine (Grandson), Dan (Nephew) and Alex (Grandnephew), all current members of our St. Albert Curling Club. The Legacy continues! Information for sharing condolences is currently not available. Please watch our Home Page for any updates.
RAY ROUAULT Presented 2016 Ray Rouault was only 24 years old when he was voted President of the "old" St. Albert Curling Club in 1956. Ray would become one of the original shareholders in 1959 when the Club moved to its current location. For over 60 years, Ray has curled an average of three times a week and has been an incredible volunteer. |
